Deep Sedation

Deep sedation is helpful for healthy children who are very young or have severe anxiety with extensive treatment needs. With deep sedation, your child will experience comprehensive care in our office without fear or memory – all in one appointment.  For this appointment, the dental and medical team present will take the highest precautions to protect your child’s safety. An important part of this team is a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist, who will provide and closely monitor your child’s deep sedation. 

If falling asleep during treatment and waking up at the end would make finishing your child’s treatment possible, then IV sedation might be a good option.
